About Us

Entrepreneur Portia Keleketu is the owner of NetMzansi, a Black-owned business. The company was founded in 2018 with the primary objective of revolutionizing the minibus taxi industry through innovative initiatives. The taxi industry represents a significant opportunity for growth within the country's business landscape. Since our establishment, we have been dedicated to two significant national taxi industry projects, which we believe will greatly influence the country's economy.

SA Taxi terminal

The Taxi Terminal Offtake Project is a development of existing taxi ranks into advanced and innovative taxi terminal facilities through Offtake Project Finance, which is non-recourse finance that entitles the lender to repayment only from the cash flow of the project the loan is funding and not from any other assets of the borrower.

The development of the Taxi Terminal Facility consists of designing, Building, Operating, Maintaining, and Managing the following sub-facilities:

·        Car Wash—where taxis are washed,

·        Operational section—parking, boarding bay, waiting area, ticket center, customer service center

·        Worker’s section—gym, clinic, canteen, library, and recreational area

·        Retail section—kiosk, fast food shop, fruits and veg shop, butchery, and bakery

Admin section—open plan office, management offices, meeting room, boardroom, computer, and control room.

Shesha Ehailing Services

Shesha E-hailing Services is a South African e-hailing services company that provides reliable, affordable, and secure transportation.

The project was established to resolve the conflict between the e-hailing drivers and the minibus transportation industry, as well as to address safety concerns that impact both e-hailing drivers and e-hailing customers.

Portia Keleketu originated the project concept and pursued it with the taxi industry through numerous interactions until the industry completely embraced it.

In 2024, NetMzansi implemented the pilot in Gauteng with the intention of expanding to other provinces in 2025.
